Came upon this restaurant by chance and what a great find. Staff were extremely friendly and made great recommendations. My husband had pate starters and I had prawns/calamari and scallop -- lovely. Main course I had lasagne and he had Penne arrabbiatta - both just the right size - filling but not leaving you stuffed. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

Good food good value, friendly staff- let me use my poor French. Spend the evening there, don't use it for a fast re-fuel. Something for everyone on the menu.

The beer & sausage festival was on in the main square so finding this gem was good as it was just off the main melee. Sitting outside and still getting the buzz was great and the service was sharp. The headwaiter's English was perfect and he was good fun. We had snails through to salad starters which were all well prepared and tasty. One of our fillet steaks was a poor cut but the escalope, other steak and pasta were fine. A great night

Great pizza place down a little side street in Arras. We were camping nearby and wanted to have a nice meal. It wasn't expensive with pizza's around 10 euros. They were very helpful with bringing us tap water for the four of us. And having the little packet of breadsticks was a nice touch and helpful for the kids. You also get a chunk of fresh homemade bread at the table. Nice restaurant and our family of four have a very nice dinner.

Ok so firstly the waiter spoke English and was very helpful he earns the 1 star, after this the experience was pathetic.

I know the French eat a slower meal that the English so bear with me as this was taken into consideration.

We were the very first table to sit down at around 7pm. We ordered within 10mins of arriving with our 3 year old. I ordered a cold starter and my wife some snails (when in france and all that jazz) these took about 40 mins to arrive. We finished reasonably quickly as we were now hungry.

Plates were cleared after 20 minutes and then..........................45 minutes later I asked if there was any chance we might be able to have the pork dish and basic pizza we ordered. 15 minutes later it arrived, dry pork with a packet sauce and a uncooked pizza. I sent both back and asked for the bill.

The waiter apologised and offered free coffee, nice thought but the bill was over 100 euro so a couple of cups of filter coffee wasn't going to cut it. I explained that I would pay for drinks and starters and that's it which he seemed to embarrassed to argue about.

10 minutes later we didn't have the bill so my wife and daughter went to the ice cream shop opposite to get something good edible for my daughter, I hate the fact she had ice cream for dinner but it was that or she went to bed hungry, plus she was delighted her best meal ever In her eyes.

I was seconds from getting up and walking away when the bill finally arrived which I promptly paid, not enough but the waiter just walked off before before I had looked in my pocket for my change so I thought enough is enough and left. I then had to walk for 20 min s to a shop to get sandwiches for dinner.

The food I saw looked poor, the prices were high and the service very slow.

I'm quite a positive reviewer and we'll used to eating out in Europe, I lived in Italy for 3 years, so I'm not one of these "I wanted it just like england" reviewers but really that was terrible.

My wife was convinced the French were all being served in front of the tourists, I hope this isn't true but I didn't get the impression they gave too much of a xxxx about us, perhaps because they knew we were not local and so mattered less reputationally

Give this one a miss my friends
