Seems a very popular place with the locals and not for nothing. Food was delicious. Highly recommended but make sure you book in advance.

As the previous reviewer said, good food and a great lamb tagine. The cous cous was good too. We also had some nice Moroccan wine and a great pastry desert. It made a nice change from the usual!

We had a beautiful meal at this restaurant during our 4 night stay in Arras. The lamb in my tagine was succulent & so tender it was falling off the bone. Servings were generous so there was no room for dessert. Lovely atmosphere - a bit exotic & totally in keeping with the food. Our very limited French was no obstacle to a great dining experience. No hesitation recommending this one.

We ate here on our first night of a weekend in Arras and what a treat it was. The place was buzzing and a lovely friendly atmosphere full of French voices. We sat under the tree which is beautiful. We started with a Kir Royale which they served with complimentary olives and peanuts. For main I had the lamb tagine with prunes and apricots while my husband had couscous with merguez and lamb brochette. The portions are very generous. The owner was lovely after an initial confusion over the booking - we had emailed and had had a reply confirming a table but he said you have to ring - he didn’t check emails ! That said he fitted us in and gave us complimentary “ digestif “ after our meal. A wonderful evening all round. If we were local we would be regulars.

Brilliant good with wonderful flavours. Fragrant cous cous and perfectly cooked vegetables and meat. First class.
