But the moment we got inside to make a reservation we felt: 'this is a good place to come!'
The menu is composed of first courses with eggs as the main ingrediënt, the maincourse are all poultry. (There is also one vegetarian main course, and a daily changing fish and (red) meat main course).
We still were a bit suspicious... Would it be really possible, to create something creative with chicken and eggs? Well, at L'oeuf ou la poule', they do!
The 'Oeuf parfait 'Espuma' de Maroilles' was a dream...
Every ingrediënt of my 'Filet de Canard au poivre de Sichuan' was cooked to perfection.
And then there was the dessert... I choose the 'Oeuf chocolat surprenant'... I never, never ever had a dessert like this. It was heaven.
To our meal, we drank a glass of very good organic red wine.
