Tarr Farm Cottage is tucked away near the top of the hill in Manorbier. You wouldn't know it was there, yet the garden has fantastic views over the castle and the bay. The village shop, pub, hotel and café are all only a few minutes walk away, as is the Costal Path - it really is in a fantastic location.

The cottage is perfect for couples, plenty of room and very well equipped, everything you need for a restful break by the sea. The owner, Maggie, is very helpful and makes sure that you have a wonderful stay.

We didn't try the pub, but the Castlemead Hotel does excellent evening meals and the Beach Break Café still does the best cawl in Wales! You can also use the tearoom in the castle without having to pay to go in. On a sunny day nothing beats sitting having a latte in the stunning surroundings of the castle and it's gardens.

Ideal location for exploring this part of Pembrokeshire. Close to coastal path and beach. Everything you need in Manorbier village - shop, pub, cafe and castle! Everything you need in cottage too. Thoughtful inclusion of tea/ coffee/milk and welsh cakes! Highly recommended.

The cottage was beautiful with views from the garden to the castle and the beach at Manorbier. It is tastefully furnished with lots of panache; really comfortable bed; well equipped kitchen and a very thoughtful welcome pack. A perfect spot for a peaceful and relaxing break in a lovely village. We really enjoyed our stay and will be looking to book again in the Spring.

We stayed here with our 13 year old son in August. The cottage has everything you need and was quiet and peaceful being tucked away.Easy walk to the beach, shop, pub, castle and tea room. Also the coast path in both directions. We hardly used the car and cycled to Stackpole which has some amazing beaches. The pub serves great, reasonably priced food and has a jukebox!(not many do).The garden and view down to the coast was lovely and great for chilling with a glass of wine after a busy day.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for posting this. It was lovely to see all the activity 'toys' bikes etc at the cottage. The cottage seems to suit so many types of holidaymakers. Quite a few people like the fact they can have a few days without needing to use their car. Thanks again.
