We came to dinner and arrived 6:30 without a reservation...we were lucky because there was a line out the door just 15 minutes later. But even if we had to wait it would have been worth it. The restaurant is cozy, comfortable and lively. In the background there was a wonderful guitarist and vocalist singing jazz.
The food was excellent with good presentation. We enjoyed the baba ghanoush appetizer..probably some of the best I've had. Entrees come with a beautiful fresh salad and saffron rice. The chicken kabob makhsoos which which is a specialty was very flavorful, moist and tender...i understand why so many patrons choose this. I had the lamb shank which was in a delicious sauce that had an incredible blend of flavorful spices; this was so tender it could fall off the bone.
Service was very friendly, personable, excellent and attentive. This 4 year old restaurant will expand soon (for good reason) and hope that atmosphere and food continue to be so good. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner so much that we will return...not soon enough!
