We stayed here for four nights this week as we wanted to try sand yachting, which is at the Noroit Club a short drive away. We stayed in the delightful pigioneirre which we understand was converted into living accommodation around three years ago. We had our own little garden and the indoor pool was literally next door to us. The pigioneirre was well fitted out, with a generous bedroom upstairs and a sitting area on the ground floor and excellent shower room and separate wc. The owners were lovely, we just wish our French was better to be able to converse properly! The continental breakfast varied every day and was excellent; home made jams, home made yoghurt (one of the best I'd ever eaten) and homemade cake or croissants, plenty of bread and fruit and cheese too! In all a great place to stay as a couple or family. A plethora of restaurants for the evening, within a 10-15 minute walk to Cancale Bay. I would definitely stay here again and would have liked to stay longer as there is plenty to do in the area.

The view: breathtaking, the room: charming. Even If the weather was not the best, se spent some lovely hours enjoying the garden and the indoor pool. The breakfast was delicious. The hostess, Martine is very welcoming and helpful. Distance to village, 10 min walk. The most charming B&B I've ever visited!

Stayed in a room on the top floor with a sea view. Clean and quiet. The hosts speak very little English and all the other guests only spoke French, in fact the vast majority of people in this area only speak French, but this is France and with the very limited French we knew and a lot of friendly goodwill by everyone, we had a very enjoyable 5 day stay. The hosts are very friendly but you will only see them around breakfast time. The breakfast is Continental only but it was always excellent. It is a 10 minute walk to the seafront (the first few minute are on a road) and the first restaurant (which is good) and a further 5 minutes along the sea front to the main area where there are many more restaurants. The general area has many paying car parks which are reasonable if you want to drink less and drive.
Many people pass straight through St Malo, but a day exploring the old walled town and walking the perimeter is worth doing. There are also many walks with written guides from the Tourist office available and good signage on the walk.
Don't come to this hotel or area if you want a cooked breakfast, English / American TV channels, room cleaned daily and new towels etc. every day, fish and chips or Macdonald's shops and everyone able to speak English. But if you want a genuine French holiday feeling like you are in France and want to try your French we would highly recommend it.

Room tip: There are rooms or a terraced row. Are room on the top floor was very good.

My husband and I visited this lovely hotel in September 2013 , we chose to stay in room " Amarillys ", and it was a wonderful experience . In fact , this is not a "hotel" , it's a real Breton house , in one wing of which his hospitable owners live and the other wing - for guests. Our room was very large and very beautiful, with a huge bed , a decorative fireplace (I think that once this fireplace worked) , a desk and journal table , two windows ( one of which has a fantastic view of Mont St Michel ), generally, in reality it is better than on pictures . Very good bedding sets and towels in the bathroom. For breakfast we were offered homemade cakes and yogurts , local cheeses . We don't speak French , but it wasn't a problem - we were talking with the help of the mobile translator. We had a car , but we were happy to walk to Cancale on foot (a fine 15 - minute walk) . I can recommend this place to those who looks for the quiet, benevolent atmosphere in a beautiful place.
