from French food. After two weeks of mostly French food, we were ready for a change. Petit Saigon fit the bill with a selection of tasty and inexpensive Asian fare. You can take out or eat in. Service is friendly and food is well prepared, but blander than we had hoped and expected. Nonetheless, on a rainy night, fried rice does not come amiss.

We ended up eating here by surprise but what a lovely surprise it turned out to be.
Lovely tasty food in a small family run establishment.
The menu is limited but very good.
We will return next year when we are on holiday in the area again.

We went there to have something else then the typical local French cuisine.
This place is great. The dishes are very authentic and have a very high quality standard.
The sizes are reasonable so you better mix your starters with different pieces from the menu.
The deserts are also delicious and authentic.
All in all a great experience and definitely a place to go!!!

Reviews from others led us here for a lunch. We were there when it opened and watched as the sishes were brought out for display. The smells were enticing and it was difficult to narrow our selections. We have many asian resturants near our home in the San Francisco area so we had some idea of the foods from these four countries. We found each of our choices to meet or exceed our expectations and we strongly recommend dinning here. It is a small place with limited seating, but take out is also possible. Service was quick and the price reasonable. An excellent alternative to a regular French meal.

This Vietnamese restaurant is run by a French man and his Vietnamese wife. It was a life-saver! 99% of the restaurants in Sarlat serve the regional specialities eg. duck liver pate, duck breast, roasted duck, and all these specialities are served with rich sauces (cream, buttter etc). Even the prawns and seafood is served with a thick rick sauce. Hence, this place, was a most welcome find.

Fried rice, roast chicken on skewers, noodles with vegies and prawns - all their dishes are cooked on the premises by the couple and not only are the meals tasty, they are very reasonably priced as well. This restaurant offers cold as well as hot entrees, a very good selection of rice, noodles, fried and soup meals, together with dessert items. Their drinks menu is also varied and well priced.

It is also very well situated, on 40 Ave, Gambetta and next to the supermarket (Carrefour).

You cannot go wrong with this place.
