If you are the sort of person that likes a modern sterile Sofitel, then this is not the place for you. It is old world charm, service and refinement. I loved my stay here from the wonderful view from my room to the small caring touches of the staff. It manages to marry the warmth and comfort of a family home with the efficiency of a 5* hotel, and full credit must go to the staff for this. Direct acess to the beach from my room was a big plus. Dinner in the L’Arbousier was excellent and good value for 85€.

We stayed here for one night for an offsite. It is a great place and offers exceptional gourmet food. Service is exceptional and it is a great place. The hotel has been maintained well in its original state and bathrooms have been completely modernised. It is right on the beach even though beach is not great.

Does not have gym and has only swimming pool. Breakfast is limited on buffet but al-carte menu is big enough. We had lunch here and it was really fantastic. Vegetarian continental food was exceptional and was liked by the entire group.

Overall a great place to stay and to have nice continental vegetarian food..

Room tip: Take rooms overlooking sea and on lower floors so that beach is accessible from the room

On a sunny June day we went to le Maquis for a birthday lunch on the terrace. The setting is gorgeous, the service very friendly. We especially recommend the calamari.
This is a pretty expensive restaurant, but well worth it.

This elegant family run hotel is just perfect for us. We had a large beautiful room with French doors leading to the private beach right outside. The hotel is filled with beautiful antiques and old photos of the family and Corsica. We only had a continental breakfast there which was very adequate. I love the goat yogurt which is popular here in Corsica and France. The hotel pays homage to the French Resistance. Le Maquis which also means scrub. The staff were very friendly and we talked about Immortelle (a flower) whose oil is used in cosmetics. Corsica has the best oil from these flowers and I bought a little bottle in its' purest form. The toiletries are Guerlain. My favourite cosmetic and perfume house. Guerlain is very particular about which hotels can use their toiletries. I was delighted.
