Beautiful rooms, several with a view to the Calvi Gulf and its hsitorical Fort and its white sand beach situated at less than 100 meters. The service is perfect, for the rooms and in the restaurant with a highly professional personnel speaking at all a lot of languages.Customers are from, several countries returning every year for vacation .

Although we took 50 years to come back it was well worth the wait. Loved every minute of our stay at this lovely small hotel. Ok. rooms in the garden are a little on the small side but lacked nothing. A couple of minutes walk to the wonderful beach and the restaurant served a set menu each evening but were very accommodating to me as do not do fish and only certain meats and all of the food was delicious. A well laid out buffet breakfast eaten outside. A couple of minutes walk to the little station for a train ride up to Ille de Rousse which was very scenic.

Room tip: The garden rooms are quaint but a bit small , the 1st floor rooms I believe are larger and have a sea view.

We had a bit of a problem to find this hotel as it is on a side street and there is no sign. When we got there, we immediately noticed the rail tracks and the neighbouring Lunapark. We were concerned it would be noisy but we should not have worried as both stop quite early. The two nights we spent there were very comfortable and quiet. We were on the first floor with a view on the sea. The staff is really efficient and friendly, we had a problem with our shower and they fixed it immediately. The private beach is gorgeous, the seats are comfy and the view on the Citadelle priceless. We did not try the breakfast buffet as we thought 15 euros per person is far too expensive and indeed we could enjoy a huge breakfast in a bakery nearby for half that price. All in all, the place is really great and would be nearly perfect if it was not for a major nuisance: as other comments pointed, it is full of mosquitoes, we have been eaten alive!

Hotel is in a so-so location in Calvi. Only there for one night before moving on. Shared a twin room. It was quite small with no facilities and it smelt quite strongly of damp. There was quite a lot of noise from a party in an adjoining room.

It seems to have a pleasant garden, though we didn't see much of it.

Basically, it is far too expensive for what you get.

On the plus side the receptionist is delightful and allowed us to leave suitcases at the hotel whilst we disappeared for a walk in the mountains!

We chose this hotel, right next to a wonderful beach, on the advice of friends. We found every aspect of the hotel perfect for us: superbly helpful staff (we had a few unexpected developments back at home, so needed to sign some documents, etc - all handled with a smile); a newly refurbished family suite (where the four of us - two adults and two children - slept very comfortably with lots of space and a super large bathroom!); yummy food (we took half board and enjoyed the ever changing evening meals and ample breakfast - and the willingness of staff to adjust some dishes for the kids); easy and short walk into the wonderful Calvi harbour; and a private beach linked to the hotel (with discounts on umbrellas and loungers) just a 2 minute walk away. The Calvi beach is perfect for kids as it has a slow drop and loads of sand. We can't say enough about this spot as the place to relax and enjoy the coastline of northern Corsica. The garden area is a lovely spot for morning breakfast and even though you are next to the little train running from Calvi to Isle la Rousse there is virtually no noise at all. It all feels very secluded in a lovely green space. We will come back!

Room tip: We had a garden suite and it was lovely and quiet - even on the ground level.
