Easy to find, it's right at the crossroads of hwys 107 and 1095 - the interection of Pai/MaeJo and ChiangMai/ChiangDao. So whether headed north or south, this is a convenient place to stop for a mid-day meal. The hours are 9 am to 3 pm.
Very clean, both the dining area and the kitchen area. They have an air-conditioned room also. Service is very fast. I eat here often and have never had a bad meal.
The price is inexpensive, most meals are around 50 Baht. The Khao Soi is excellent, on a par with Khao Soi Lam Duan in Chiang Mai. Most often I eat the Shrimp Paste Rice plate. They also have a coffee bar. If you like the pork satay, this is also available along with the noodle dishes commonly served. Also available are an assortment of refreshing drinks.
The bathrooms are very clean and without the common unpleasant smells.
The owner is Thai and very friendly, but not an English speaker. The menu is non-Thai friendly with a very nice picture menu.
