We liked this hotel it is nicely situated and the staff were very helpful. This was to the extent we arrived after some bad weather and they cleaned the swimming pool for us so my daughter could use it the next day. Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of it. Night staff was very friendly and introduced us to the cat which my daughter really liked even though it is wild.
However this hotel is at the bottom of a very long flight of steps and if you don't have a car and are carrying luggage this is a very long haul Bus only runs between June and October and there only seemed to be one taxi in the area.

We spent 4 nights in this Hotel in September with a group of 35 (no other guests were in the Hotel). The Hotel is clean, our room was spacious enough. A bunk bed was also in our room, so it can be OK for a family with kids. Some group members who stayed in rooms in the groundfloor complaint about stuffy & musty rooms. The air conditioner worked well, we could set it manually with remote controller. There were rolling shutter on the window, so we could make absolutely dark for the night. The breakfast was poor (maybe it was only for our group, contracted with travel agency) The harbour and the beach is about 5 minutes walk. There is an information desk in the harbour where you can take maps, brochure about the city, area. You can reach the town centre with yellow EAV bus (bust stop near to Hotel) or walking steep steps from the beach (you need to be in good condition, the steps are exhaustive) Good to know that there is a regular ship service at 8:00 am every day to Capri (it stops in Sorrento also). The fare is 18,30 EUR to Capri (one way) . The ship came back at 17:15 from Capri to Vico Equense Harbour.

Pros:
- very friendly and helpful staff
- most of the staff speaks english
- good and quiet location near the sea
- good price in this area

Cons:
- breakfast was very simple
- our room was a little bit smelly
- air conditioning was powered on at first morning, nobody told us about it (hot and smelly room was not the best combination and only thing we can open was small window at the toilet and doors to terrace which was not comfortable because there was only small fence between terrace and public area), and it was powered off sometime early morning of our last night
- studio apartment was one of the smallest where I stayed
- yes, there was a kitchen, but basic stuff was not there. No salt, no sugar, nothing to wash dishes with. Be prepared to bring this stuff, we were not because anywhere we stayed with a kitchen those basic things was there
- no view from studio
- no WiFi at the studio

We booked in at Eden Bleu very last minute (5pm on day of arrival!) as we couldn’t find anything else in the area at a reasonable price. We intended staying there for one night and then moving on to travel around The Amalfi Coast however the location of the hotel was so good that we decided that it was worth the short journey back every day. The hotel is a 10 second walk from the harbour and most rooms have a sea view. The interior was dated but very clean, breakfast was simple but enough to get you started In the morning. The key selling point of the hotel for us was the staff, most spoke broken English but made every effort to talk to us. There was one lady who seemed to be there all the time who’s English was better, she made us feel so welcome even suggesting tours we could take and let us know about events going on that we should avoid (protests in Naples). They even gave us a reduction on the weekend rates as we had extended our stay. We then moved on to Rome for two nights and arrived at Naples the day before our flight home, we were that disgusted with the state of the city – rubbish spilling out everywhere, smells, uncomfortable gangs of men hanging around on street corners that we turned the car around and headed back to Eden Bleu, with no reservation they welcomed us back like long lost friends and found a room for us. Our flight was due to leave before breakfast started the next day but the manager made sure we had something to eat and a coffee before we left (which he made himself!) All in all not the best facilities, not the most modern hotel but clean, friendly and fab location. We will happily be returning again!
