We visited as a stopover while on a driving trip from Sorrento to Sicilia. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating, and it was a rainy day. However, the hotel was a good place to stop, probably worth returning to in better weather for a longer stay.

Our room was quite unique -- a door opened off a terrace to a stairway which opened into a spacious room with an enormous (for Italy), well appointed bathroom. Bright sunset-toned, classical murals covered very wall. We had a comfortable king-bed as well as a single for my daughter.

Breakfast was good, nothing fantastic, but attentively served.

Hotel was clean and quiet.

Very good location, next to everything.
Hotel is very Unique/Antic, rooms are really big size, some of them got jacuzzis ,
All rooms decorated amazingly.
Very friendly owner and the stuff ...
It felt we stepped 100 years back! Worth it to stay and feel Antica!

Nice place, interesting decor. Big rooms. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. A little bit cold at this time of the year. Central location. Nice garden. Shame there was no balcony as the price of the room is not cheap.

The hotel is a beautiful antique house 2 minutes walk from historic center. The hotel itself is an attraction and the owner is veeery kind and lovely!!! We stayed in a suite downstairs, spacious, very cozy, comfy bed! Everything was perfect. I strongly recommend the hotel, even in winter, a good time to be in Tropea, although the cold, few tourists and very calm. There's a public parking very close to the hotel if you go by car. ( It's a task to find a hotel with parking lot in historic center in Europe).

I visited in November and would like to go in a warmer month when more restaurants would be open. A very pleasant stay out of season. The breakfast was typical Italian, I might have preferred a full English but hey, Croissants coffee cereal and orange juice were just fine.

Room Tip: good air con / heating, if you want 5 star luxury go find a Hilton. At 100 euros for two rooms it was very good value indeed.
