Didn't stay here, but went for an evening meal and again for a Sunday lunch. Travellers realize what the beauty of this location when driving back towards Spoleto, especially when the sun drops with a host of colours showcasing the valley and the Martani mountains. After parking the motor vehicle in the area opposite the entrance, I reached the warmly decorated dining room with square tables set with proper tablecloths and serviettes, make you forget you are in the country until glancing at the olive trees outside. I've really enjoyed their bruschetta, the spelt and trasimeno bean soup, the pappardelle with hare & black truffle ragu`(for only 8 Euros), the beef tagliata with rocket leaves, balsamico & shaved parmesan, the big serve of typical crescionda (for 3 Euros!) as well as the coffee. Pizza wasn't as great as the one at osteria at Passo d'Acera. The atmosphere was convivial. I think they need more than one rest room as it gets busy when they have functions. The professional and polite waiter kindly showed me one of the guest bedrooms, number 18, which seemed to need some attention to small detail, e.g. the bedcover was not tightly pulled up, the shower size is only for medium sized people, but the room was sufficiently large with a window overlooking the outdoor swimming pool. Surely I will go back to dine.
