I was looking for a good spot to entertain a friend's birthday lunch. Tables overlook the beach and on a sunny day you get a great view of roller bladers and Segway riders enjoying the California sun.
The restaurant has a nice selectioni of cocktails and wines with a food selection that is typical for an upper end hotel restaurant. Visitors should be aware that you are paying a premium for the setting with wine going for $20 a glass however for special events this is a memorable location to bring your guests.

This is one of these hotels that you just need to come back to. We are only spending time at the best hotels. And we are now back.

I do not understand why its not number 1 in Tripadvisors ranking. This is outstanding. Far better than the others.

The hotel is a boutique hotel. On the beach with full sea view. The decor is elegant. The service is spotless.

The suite is spacious and the breakfast is top compared to most Italian places. Aslo its cooked to order. At the top of the hotel with full sea view.

They have private beach with dedicated sun beds and umbrellas. Its not crowded but relaxed exclusive environment. They have bar, restaurant and nanny service with playground. And a very nice spa pool for adults.

In the spa area outside and inside you can get treatments and massage.

The dinner can be taken on the roof toop. Again with the amazing view.

The city is charming and the people are mostly italians. Nicely dressed so remember your best outfit. You can get around on bikes or walking. The hotel parks your car far away and bring it back on demand.

To wrap up: I can highly recommend Terrazza Marconi. Its a secret gem.

We actually planned when we would go to Italy this year around the availability at this hotel. I admit that like some others I learned about this hotel in a book by Frances Mayes and boy am I thankful I did. The hotel is beach front, right by the Rotunda. The view is just awesome.

Our room had a small balcony and we overlooked the sea and the Rotunda. In the morning I could just lay in bed and watch the sunrise. The hotel service was very good. The room was well equipped. Smaller, sure, but we weren't there to live in the room. Everything worked great and the shower was great. Breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was perfect. Filled us up for a day at the beach.

Oh yeah, the beach club. Love love love. You are assigned the same chairs for your stay, so they feel like hotel. There is great beach service and a nice little restaurant and lounge at the beach club. And the spa pool at the beach too. They are particular about the pool, but that was fine. It has water massage stations. A nice change from the beach. We personally love the Italian beach tradition. For Americans, it is different but it is for us. I loved the vendors that come by selling everything from swimwear/coverups to jewelry to kites to common household items like the expandable garden hose - I kid you not.

The hotel has a very nice spa as well. We enjoyed the pool with massage stations there as well. And then there is the restaurant Cecina by Niko. I reviewed that separately; we loved the restaurant, lounge and of course Niko!

Can't wait to go back next month!

Room Tip: Pay to have a balcony with a sea view. it was the perfect way to start and end the day.

This hotel has it all. The very best view, assuming you book a sea view, overlooking the rotunda and landmark of this part of the Italian coastline and Senigallia. The hotel is modern Italian in style though art deco in period, so the theme of black and white and luxury prevail. It has its own restaurant for fine dining though it felt a little too formal for us so we didn't use it, its own spa for those all important facials and massages (very handy when the weather was poor and a perfect retreat to unwind from a day's sightseeing). The bicycles provided by the hotel were a wonderful way to see the town.

The breakfast served was plentiful and fresh and tasty with lots of choice and delicious home made offerings. Scrambled eggs cooked to order absolutely delicious. Lovely cheerful service by the waiter and waitress too. The view from the 5th floor spectacular overlooking the sea. A great place to chill over a cocktail in the evening if the weather is warm and dry! But equally lovely over a cappuccino at breakfast.

The staff were at all times courteous and very helpful. Service a little slow at midnight when trying to get a drink in the lounge but really when you are on holiday, chill and relax and just be patient ...all good things come to those who wait. The bedrooms are clean, smart and stylish with everything provided from toiletries, to bathrobes and towelling slippers. The rooms are kept constantly tidy, clean and well maintained. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: room 304 - great view and balcony

The hotel is in an excellent location right on the beach in Senegallia. We had a suite with sea view - beautiful. The room was clean and elegantly furnished, with a real zebra skin rug. The best thing was the spa which is in the basement. We came to Senegallia out of season and the weather was too cold for the beach, but the onsite spa made up for that. I tried all 5 types of massages which were done with great expertise. The restaurant "by Niko" is also located on site and I could not recommend it highly enough!
The only small downside was that the wifi disconnects after short period of inactivity (around 5 minutes) and you have to reconnect each time, which is a little bit annoying.
Other than that,

Room Tip: a sea view room offers amazing views of the beach
