Very simple eating but with a lot of ancient flavors. Very good service. Suitable for family with children.

We went to this restaurant after reading reviews. We ordered a seafood platter and it was overcooked. We were disappointed with the food and when we shared our feedback the staff took it positively. They didnt charge us for the platter and were very apologetic.
This restaurant was one of the best seafood restaurants I have visited in the world! We had grilled fish plate, a Sicilian style prepared fish (can't remember the name) and Orvieto Clasico wine. Perfect! The desert menu was extensive with many mouth watering choices. Mains were 15-16 Euros. Total bill came out to be only 51 Euros. Excellent service.
We found this place on a little side street, we were made to feel so very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We have two kids, Sarah our waitress was more than happy to make food not on the menu for them and to change the specials for my wife who is vegetarian. The food was great and the rest of the family loved it.
I can not recommend Cibus enough!
It's very rare that you sit down to a three course lunch in a restaurant and every single dish they bring you is just wow.... Cibus gives you just that; a warm, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and attentive waiting staff and fresh fish that was just divine, from the tuna tartare and seafood salad, to the seafood pasta, to the tuna steak in a pistacchio crust, perfectly paired with a great bottle of prosecco, much required after a pretty hot morning of site-seeing! This is all at a really affordable price, I can only say 100% satisfying down to the last bite! We had no room for dessert but there was a generous selection and certainly looked very good! Five stars Cibus thank you so much for the perfect lunch!
