Orvieto is a very popular stop on the tourist trail in Umbria. The main street is lined with pottery shops and other stuff that you can't help but take home. Sandwiched (no pun!) into the mid-point of the street is this charming little street cafe, wine shop, and deli. Hey, these locations serve only tourists, take your money, and serve terrible food, right?
This is what an Italian street cafe should be like. Local menu products, excellent food ingredients, no frills, just an excellent Italian lunch. The whole town provides the charm of a mountain-top town, excellent quality pottery, and good food! If you plan to go through Orvieto, plan to stop by at this place to have an excellent lunch at a good price, and have a good time.
