This very nice , unassuming hotel was perfect for our quick trip to the seaside . It is on an alley off a main street. with free parking two blocks from the hotel. Easy to find. Park near Duomo ( pay .50 ) , on check in you will receive parking pass. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is complete, yogurt, meats, cheese , cereal, fruit. Rooms are not fancy but certainly fine. Wi Fi is good in lobby with room for privacy. A small area is available to printing boarding pass. Plenty of shopping , food and clothes, and many restaurants in very short walking. Highly recommend if you dont want pampering. Would definitely return.

Room Tip: Hotel is "downtown" in small city so you hear normal activity outside. reliable wi fi in lobby.

This Hotel is in the center of a small town. We found it perfect for using as a base for our sorties in the area. It is unassuming but we were pleasantly surprised by the simple breakfast provided. Our room was clean, maybe a little spartan but fine for our needs. The staff were helpful but not effusive. There was plenty of parking about 3 minutes walk away, by the laguna, which cost 1 euro for 24 hours.

Room Tip: We were there during the week. A room at the back may be quieter at the weekend.

Hotel Sole is hard to find and offers very little for the price we paid. Room furnishings are 50 years behind the times. TV was very small and outdated. Reception staff was rude and offensive.
No parking available, but they provide a free pass for the parking by the hour. Definitely a bad choice and we would not recommend this hotel.

This small hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town section of historic Orbetello. No WiFi or business center but the accommodations were clean and comfortable with excellent housekeeping and a most attentive front desk staff. The hotel lobby is roomy and quite attractive, and also serves as the site for the very nice morning breakfast. Coffee and tea are also available there throughout the day and evening. For the money, we found it a good value and would happily stay there again.

Room Tip: We loved having a front room with shuttered windows overlooking the street below. This is a town where the residents gather during the evening along the street and piazza outside. It was a warm and heartening experience to look in on this and experience their interaction.

Hotel Sole is a very basic, 1960's stye with no renovation, hotel. We got a room on the second floor, street side. They gave us a room with a third bed, so it was quite roomy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but modern. Bath products provided were just hard soap and small packages of liquid soap. There was a lot of noise from the walking street below the window until past midnight. TV in the room, but not many working channels. No wifi or internet connection. Breakfast was a minimal buffet, but the coffee was made fresh for each guest on the espresso coffee maker, which was a step up from most hotels.
So, at first I was a little disappointed by the very basic feeling of the hotel, but over the weekend it grew on me. The management offered an aperitivo on Saturday eve before we went out for dinner. When we left they gave us a bottle of red wine. The staff was very kind and warm.
Overall a lovely stay.
I didn't take any photos because the room was exactly like the one provided by the hotel.
Orbetello is a fascinating little town on a small spit of land in the middle of a lagoon. Good day trips to Monte Argentario.
