Conveniently located near the Serravalle outlet, this charming old hotel is spectacularly located at the top of a hill overlooking the area. The hotel restaurant offered a lovely dinner service with proper waiters and old fashioned service. Really enjoyable.
Typical of an old hotel, it doesn’t have the latest and greatest of everything but that’s not why you choose a hotel like this. It just has beautiful old world charm

Nice hotel just outside of serravalle scrivia, based on hill behind small industrial estate. You need a car or taxi (15euro each way) to arrive at hotel, too far to walk from the outlet and no public transport. Large rich family villa, with many old 19th century period style decorations, a bit old fashioned; room sizes are mixed. Our 2nd room had nice size bathroom with tub and shower and 2 beds. No tea /coffee maker in room. First room was quite small and had rather small matrimonial bed. On site Restaurant is exclusive and rather expensive, but good quality. For other restaurants in area you need a car. Breakfast quite simple, but also okay.

Ancient romans would describe it as "loco amoeno" that means far from the crowded places, noise or known places.Well this is it.Surrounded by hills and vineyards thil villa is perfect for party, weddings, days off or,as in my case ,team building work.Food is very good and tasty, rooms are big and people is warm and not intrusive.
Negative:maybe toilets should be renewed a bit (even if clean and full of all the needed stuff). Breakfast is not properly fully international and ,in my view,is a bit poor.
Suggestion:Wine is great ,I tried both red and white

We were looking forward to our dinner at Villa Pomela's restaurant. However, our experience wasn't as good as we expected. Firstly, the service was extremely slow and the staff weren't very friendly. I ordered duck tortellini with black truffle, but, sadly, they'd ran out of truffle and replaced it with porcini mushrooms. The tortellini tasted delicious, but the portion was very small, and they lacked sauce. My companion had some beef, and he said it was nothing special. I wasn't fully satisfied after my dish, so I decided to have a dessert. I chose an apple crumble, and my companion went with tiramisu. Both dessert were very good, especially the crumble, but they took extremely long to arrive. Everything was extremely expensive and didn't live up to our expectations.

Luckily, we booked a table as the restaurant filled up quickly. The service was quick and professional and the food delicious. The prices are a bit on the high side for the area but the setting and quality justified the price.
