The real draw of this hotel really is the spa which is beautiful and you get access to the spa for free when you stay. The treatments are very expensive though (more than our home in London UK!) which is a shame. They would get more business if prices are lowered.
We booked to stay in the annex and thankfully got to stay in the main building. My husband didn’t read the small print when booking. Our room was clean and had all the usual amenities but we found it dark. The main window only came up to below waist height and so was dark in our room. In the morning to find things in our luggage we had to move the bags closer to the window. We found the light issue quite depressing. Also the air con didn’t work so we assume it’s been switched off (as noted in other reviews) and our toilet was broken and kept refilling. We did inform staff but nothing was done.
The spa is amazing though as is the outside pool. The place is close to town and has free parking on site (although query where people park when it’s busy). We liked the no children policy for the spa.
Breakfast was fairly mediocre, but this is common across Italy and they serve the usual fare. More
