Visited for a sport tournament, hotel is very nice, clean and with large rooms, Jacuzzi, queen bed.
Also the Spa was available, even if i did not visit it. Very nice breakfast and friendly staff need to be mentioned. I would stay here if i'll get back in the nearby.
Very good value for money, i booked thru booking with a very good offer.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. Our suite was excellent, very spacious and traditional, with a separate lounge, and wonderful views from the balcony which overlooked the pool and part of Montecatini Alto. The pool area is so charming and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, every little request was met with a smile and immediate response.
Thank you to everyone at the Bellavista Palace, you made our stay in Montecatini Terme very special!

Room tip: Higher floor offers the best views

Good location in a nice green area, 10 min walk to the center. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, nice balcony. The staff is very helpful. Good breakfast. Wi-Fi is slow in some areas. Parking across the street.

A very warm welcome by the hotel who offered a welcome drink upon check in (juice). The room was spacious and the amenities were adequate. It opens to a nice balcony with outdoor seating for alfresco dining!

The hotel is relatively near to town area, a mere 10 minutes stroll. Unfortunately, the spa was already closed when we checked in so we didn't get to use it.

Breakfast was rather disappointing though. Apparently, there is only one serving and the food will not be replenished when it runs out. As we had breakfast slightly later, we did not manage to get eggs.

The hotel was on 3 floors with a lift, is imposing and in room 116 we had a sitting room and a double bedroom, both with TV’s, the bath had a shower and a Jacuzzi (but no instructions how to use it). The location was near a nice municipal park and a thermal spa, and was a 20 minute stroll into the town centre, and 10 minutes walk to the funicular up to Montecatini Alto.
The hotel is family run, and seemed to be short of staff, with 2 chefs and 3 waiters making for slow service when hotel full of guests. There were 14 of us in the group from ‘Ingham’s Italy’brochure.
The breakfasts were buffet style with a reserved group of tables on the patio. Plenty of breads and cakes, 3 fruit juices, tea and coffee (hot chocolate on request), hot and cold milk for cereals, and a very slow continuous toaster that hardly browned the bread after 2 passes! There were yogurts and fresh fruits- some to choose yourself and peel. The only hot food was boiled eggs.
Evening meals included a jug of water and ice cubes, house wine by the glass was not expensive at 3 Euros, beer 5 Euros, soft drinks 5 Euros. Lots of salads and warm tomato, pickled salmon, or rice based dishes to begin. There was a choice of 2 pasta dishes of generous portion, followed by a choice of main course of fish or meat with potatoes- often the fish had large bones, no choice of dessert. There were plenty of poolside seats and loungers, with several rooms to just sit and chat. There was also an indoor pool. A cool breeze sometimes meant you needed an extra layer for dining on the terrace.
Tours: It was really useful, enjoyable and helpful to have the friendly and efficient Ingham’s representative staying with us in the hotel, sharing our meals together as a group, and joining us on all the tours, obtaining local guides and entrance tickets and the train tickets to Florence- the latter a nice change from the tour bus.
4 tours and 2 days free at leisure with tours to Siena, Chianti,
Florence, Lucca and Pisa were very enjoyable, maybe a little overdose on famous cathedrals and churches?
For the age of our group, mostly retired folk, some of the walking in the cities was tiring, and most would have preferred a half day tour to San Gimignano, not added on to Siena?

Room tip: only some rooms have a balcony and view of the pool
