If you are hesitating in booking this chalet due to lack of reviews as we were, then don't - just book it!
We've just returned from 4 amazingly relaxing days and Paulo, the owner, and his daughter couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.
Gabriele, Paulo's daughter, drove us to the chalet so we wouldn't get lost and showed us around.
The chalet is on it's own (it is attached to another smaller and currently unused chalet which I think might also be owned by Paulo). It has an enormous garden with seating and bbq overlooking the mountains and whilst there is a footpath in front of the house, it's just passing walkers who use it.
The chalet itself is simply furnished and lovely and cool due to half of it being in the rock. We had everything we needed for a few days relaxation away from the children. We would consider taking the children once the youngest was 6 or older I think as the two sofas downstairs turn into the 3rd and 4th beds (upstairs is just the double bed and bathroom) and I'm not sure ours would sleep downstairs by themselves. Shame- as they would've loved the open space outside and the 2 minute walk down to Lake Nembia which is a shallow lake with a play area and a hotel/bar 5 mintues away.
A ten minute walk away is Lake Moveno and we walked round it in a few hours (with a stop in town for some lunch). A lovely walk, shaded by trees and easy underfoot.
I would also recommend eating at the owners hotel in Molveno - Alpotel Venezia - for a truly local experience.
