We had been led astray by our Garmin satnav and taken to an hotel which did not exist (one of Garmin's little ways along with taking you up one way streets the wrong way) so we simply drove around until we stumbled on La Perla at after eleven at night. Friendly welcome, airy, clean, decent room with comfortable bed and a clean shower. Very good price. Currently (May 2016) undergoing major face-lift and improvements so don't be put off by the works outside. Receptionist spoke very good English. Note that they do not normally accept pets in the bedrooms. Didn't ask for breakfast but were directed by the manager to a busy nearby bar/restaurant on the beach where we had tea, coffee and two croissants for four euros.
Late at night any room is a blessing, but in the cold light of day this place still seemed very good.
