To understand my point, i visited this restaurant first time in end of may (when they just opened after crisis) and second time 24 of july, when is already quite high season.
I planned to write a rewiev after a first time of visiting but did not have the right moment, i wish i could find it...
The place himself is outside "not very restaurant but this was even better as not "tourist" place. They welcomed us also very friendly with kids, but this is normal in Tuscan. So we get nice small bottle of prosecco, tried the selection of sea food appetizers, my favorite is marinated anjovis. We tried also different sea food. Tha pasta with shrimps they made for children was super. Also the service we were very welcomed. As the place located right in the beach so the view is no need for comments, as it was may they havent put there any umbrellas and so.
We totally enjoy the lunch it was excellent mainly because the people care abot service, humanity SUPER !
I was waiting when i can visit the place again and yes in one day i was there near and thought yes this is the place....unfortunately ...
Befor was a small storm as we went to the restaurant, so they clean the floor from sand and water the way they think was the best :-)
I asked to get the table more in open air, they refused, i asked maybe we can sit near to the closest table on the sea, they refused (was sitting only 1 table).
Also they was looking at me, why i came this restaurant at all. I was thinking maybe something wrong and did not let disappoint my last time.
So i was taking the table that they offer for us, near the bar station. I was ordering some prosecco to start with great lunch. The waiter was also quite passiv and more attention get the staff than the clients. I was showing her picture of the dish we eated last time appetizer selection of sea food, so she said okay (we get totally different result, but maybe they changing the menu or snacks it`s not a problem).
Also we ordered hamburger, medium, french fries, spagetti Vongole and fried sea food.
So we get "hamburger" only well-done cutlet and thats it, spagetti Vongole was good al dente. Fries were very oily, i think the friture temp was too low. Same story with fried sea food.... unfortunately !
So it was disapointment, why because the people who worked did not care and i think the first time worked owners them self.
So first time 5, second 2...
I thought that as this year they dont have so many clients they understand that they have to try much more harder but maybe no, no i have one place less to go for lunch but unfortunately are in Toscana lot of places to go.
