Very conivingent place in a good location near Carusselo 3000. The next Lift is just across the street. The personnel and Marzia were very kind and took very good care of us. Breakfast with all types of Italian coffee and evrything you need to start your day. We certainly will come back to Marzia and our beloved Livignio.

We enjoyed the hotel Marzia. The room was large with a balcony and in good condition. There was a view over the valley of Livigno which was great. The staff was helpful. The ski lifts were about 100 meters (uphill). There were great restaurants within a few meters of the hotel - La Pioda, Bella Vista. The breakfast at the hotel was good and the service was wonderful. Most of the breakfast items were locally sourced - the yogurt, cheese, meats, fruits - which was a nice touch. You could also get eggs and omlets.
We were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom was well kept, but the carpet in the room could have been vacuumed a bit better. The bedding was not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. There was no top sheet, the mattress was average and the comforter was too lightweight for a ski town. As for the location it was a bit odd. Kind of central, but not too convenient to anything. Although the lifts were about 100 meters, the walk in ski boots up hill was disappointing. In addition, the lift was a t bar that merely provided access to the gondola. Furthermore, the bus system was a bit unreliable despite the bus stop being convenient to the hotel right out front. The bus also only runs until 8pm, so walking was a must. We enjoyed our walk into town each night but the distance to the pedestrian zone was in excess of 1 km and uphill on the way home. Adding a shuttle to the amenities would have been a nice touch and made our taste that much more enjoyable. Finally and perhaps the least excusable was the wifi. There is absolutely no excuse for a 4 star hotel that advertises having wifi to not have wifi in the room. I work when I travel and I had to work in the lobby with noise and other guests. This needs to be rectified.

We was at New Year 2013. The Hotel no bad, but so expensive for service, but staff was affable.
So poor breakfast. Some days we didn't have a bread. Cleaning service was very well. Near the hotel is bus station.

We have stayed at Hotel Marzia four times in the last 8 years. Each time we have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, large and well decorated in a modern alpine style. The family owners are all involved in running the hotel and this gives a very special feel. Marzia is incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on all aspects of Livigno. It feels like we arrive home every time we get there. Location is in San Rocco, which is slightly out of the centre of town, but a short walk or bus ride back into town. We prefer that it’s not in a noisy part of town. The ski slopes (on the Carosello 3000 ski area), is across the road. A free bus stops outside the hotel if you want to ski the opposite mountain called Mottolino. Great ski lockers are provided in the hotel. Overall Livigno is a great place to ski, with great shopping, good italian food and value for money!

The personnel wasn't available to give us the aperitiv promised in the offer only because we were out of time and the aperitiv was only salame and cheese, food very common on mountain there and not to be prepared...They were also cold and not so kind.
