The hotel is excellently located within easy walking distance from a ski lift. If it hadn't been for an ongoing construction at the lot nextdoor, it would have been possible to ski to the hotel in the afternoon as well.
The rooms are of an adequate size and impeccably clean. The interior is starting to get a bit dated, however. The beds are comfortable. I had no issues whatsoever with the internet connection in my room.
The breakfast was good, with a nice spread.
The ski room is a bit narrow, but we had no issues during our visit since people seemed to come and go at different times. I saw someone complaining about it being communal (i.e. not lockers). I have never seen a hotel with lockers for the skis, ever, and I've been to quite a few. The ski room looks like most others in the Alps.
Calling the owner rude, as some reviews do, is a bit unfair in my opinion. Sure, she does not talk a lot (or smile a lot for that matter) but she was never unfriendly in conversation. Furthermore, the younger woman who worked the reception desk was very friendly and helpful.
As a last note, there are dogs at the hotel, so if you're allergic or very afraid of dogs, this might not be for you.More
