Livigno is one of those places is not easy to find bad food and i usually like to test as much restaurant as i can. But this time i failed myself and i dinned for three days in a row at the same place. The Pastorella.
Nothing really flashing to say why i keep coming back and maybe this is the reason, balance. Food is genuine and good, crew is genuine and good, bill is honest and good. I felt home. The last day i had seafood, yes in the mountain and i had the face to ask the waiters if it was food. You gotta trust he replied. Trust well deserved. So thumbs up for this restaurant. By the way, portions are bi and when i say big, i mean it. So order wisely.

My family & I stayed in La Pastorella & had dinner in their main restaurant almost every night. The waiters were exceptionally professional, yet funny & warm at same time. Made us feel special each time. They remembered our preferences. Food was excellent and well priced. Felt at home.

We visit this restaurant every time we visit Livigno. One of the good signs is that staff is stable over the years, always friendly and in very good mood which makes you feel like home! And if you feel like home, food will always taste great! We tried pretty much everything there - what would I highlight are their pizzas and if you'd like to have some fish, you always find it here as well (not usual in Livigno, but who comes to mountains to eat fish?).
