A former villa owned by the artist Galileo Chini and his family. Now owned and managed by two charming and helpful young brothers. Air conditioned and free wifi, also available are bikes at no cost. The hotel has a fairly large sheltered garden where breakfast, lunch and dinner is normally served. It seems to have very reasonably priced set menus, changed daily, although we ate out with friends. The beach runs for miles, with Viareggio and Lido di Camiore being essentially contiguous. Cut price rates are available at two very good bagnios associated with this hotel, much cheaper and just as good as the neighbouring ones just 100 m along the beach at Viareggio. Parking is a problem in both Viareggio and Lido di Camiore and the roads back from the beach are narrow, one-way and crowded in the summer, but this hotel has its own parking areas on either side of the hotel gardens. Entrances are narrow and easily missed, but the brothers will park and manoeuvre your car at short notice. If you're just going to the beach then you won't need your car, but it is well worth visiting surrounding attractions, like Pietrasanta - the village famous for its sculpture studios using local marble. Best visited in the evening, when it really comes alive. Parking there is very easy and it is only a few miles inland from Lido. Also worth visiting is Puccini's summer home at Terre dal Lago.

We have stayed at the hotel many times and never disappointed. The hotel has everything you could wish for with comfortable rooms, cleanliness and oozes charm and elegance. It is ideal for a beach or sightseeing holiday as Lucca, Florence, Cinque Terre, Garfagnana are all within an easy drive.
Nicola, Cesare and all of the staff offer a warm welcome and ensure your stay is enjoyable, relaxing and nothing is too much trouble.
Breakfast is substantial and dinner is served every evening in the garden by candlelight. The food is authentic Tuscan and is freshly prepared to a very high standard accompanied by excellent wine. Food and wine are moderately priced and excellent value.
It is a truly memorable experience

My husband and I stayed at Club I Pini on friends recommendation for 10 days at beginning of June. We were not disappointed. Hotel well placed for visiting surrounding area, set in beautiful gardens a short walk from beach and promenade. Our room was traditional, spacious and clean. The highlight for us was pre dinner drinks/snacks in the garden every evening with other guests before a delicious dinner with great service.

Had a very relaxing holiday thanks to Nicola, Cesare and all the staff. Will definitely return in the future.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 4 at front of hotel overlooking garden. . Large and sunny with balcony.

For a weekend in Tuscany coast we stayed at the Pini Hotel. A great experience thanks to the hotel staff always available.
The hotel is about 300 meters from the sea and located in a quiet location without traffic.
Great restaurant cuisine.
Thanks to Nicola Cesare and all the staff

Revisited this place with my Spouse late May and into the first days of June. Reason for the revisit is equally simple as it is given or written following this sentence.
If you are looking for a true and genuine Tuscan experience this is the place to visit and stay over in. Nicola, Cesare, Julia the whole Team makes your stay feeling like you are coming home. Excellent selection of wines from the region, food equally excellent and genuine and the price you pay for it all very very fair. You can eat 'more fancy' , you can equally drink more expensive wines (even-though Nicola holds some really good rarities in his stash) but it is hard if nor impossible to find anything better in terms of true value for money, plus the facts around ambience and friendly atmosphere makes this a full 5 star rating full stop. Only one last short sentence: 'Go there' !
