What a delicious delightful dinner! We returned after 2 years to find this restaurant as good as ever! The 6 courses were wonderful, with intriguing tastes and fresh from their farm. The main course was a thinly sliced beef that was perfectly done per each persons preference...rare to medium. The lovely fresh “tea” infusion, wines from their family vineyard in mainland Portugal and charming setting makes for a fabulous dining experience. The fixed price of 35€ per person is a real steal but note they only take cash and there are no atms so be prepared!

Had a fantastic evening in this cute little restaurant with a large group of friends. The hosts were welcoming and very accommodating of several allergies and dietary requirements in our group, and ensured we all enjoyed our 5 course meal. The food was delicious - so well cooked and prepared and just full of flavour. I didn’t want it to end! Such a special night for a great price too - you’d pay three times that much for a 5* meal in the UK! Would thoroughly recommend - book in advance!

We enjoyed a beautiful family style dinner with several courses and delicious food from beginning to end. The staff was amazing. Very quaint restaurant .Fresh food from the farm and lots of wine.

This was, by far, our favorite restaurant on Sao Miguel. The food comes directly from the family's farm and is made with so much love. I live in one of the "foodie" cities on the East Coast. If this restaurant was nearby, it would be packed every night. Make a reservation in advance.

When we navigated to the place we discovered it's quite a hidden gem, which adds to its magic. It's in a peacful, empty street in Sao Miguel. You have to ring a bell to get in, and once you are in, you are surrened by candle light, great decoration, music and the happy faces of the staff.
As I'm Jewish, we asked them if we can have a pork-ham-meat with dairy free meal (A Kosher meal), and they happly obliged, which is so rare.. This was awesome.
You really need to come hungry, because the food is plentiful. I really don't want the next statment to be interpeted wrong, the food is great, fresh, though through and great, but I just have to say it's not the missing diamondin the Culinary world, so you won't get knocked of your feet. The values is great.
Overall, highly, highly recommendable. This is a great place to spend an evening.
