We ate at this restaurant for the first time and we like it. The fish was fresh, very well prepared, the price was ok. We was at the restaurant at 12 o’clock, we were the only customers, and i was thinking may be we should cancel....but in the end was good. It was too early, when we left we saw many customers.

We visit this restaurant every summer when we visit the island and usually have a good experience. This visit, unfortunately, was very poor in terms of service, food and hospitality. The new owners are in over their head and are unable to meet the needs of the customers. Our wait for our food was very long and the food quality was poor. The meats tasted burnt and the fish was drowned in a ketchup like sauce. It was apparent that our group were not locals and when I went to pay with my credit card I was advised that they only accept Portuguese credit cards! I was treating a large group and did not have the required amount of Euros on me. I was so embarrassed when I had to ask one of my guests to pay! The owner offered me the option to come back to pay but this restaurant was out of our way. She really did not care and for all these reasons the have lost a large group of regular customers.

We stumbled upon this nice place. I'm new to fish so I was overwhelmed with choices. Our nice waitress pointed out the fresh fish. They are actually on ice as you walk in. She described each one and recommended a couple house dishes. We ordered one in a tomato sauce, potatoes, shrimp, ray, other fresh fish. We also ordered bread, cheese and olives. Quite tasty!
