We dined here on the last night of our 10-day Puglian holiday and were very impressed. Firstly, it's an easy walk from the historic centre, following the ramparts of the castle.
On first impression, the place delivered on every level: cool decor, good ambient lighting, comfortable chairs, friendly yet professional service.
The food was easily the best we had on our holiday; local ingredients treated with pride and imagination to conjure up some excellent dishes that were still recognisably Puglian but not the same tired dishes you'd get everywhere else.
My boyfriend is vegetarian and was very well catered for - no pasta with tomato sauce in sight! Everything tasted fresh and of very high quality. The chef clearly cares about his work and his customers and popped out of the kitchen every now and again for a chat, which was very nice.
All in all, a great experience and very much recommended!
