A ugly congress type hotel 70ties style, with a breakfast room from hell.
However, a cheap night near the city center and with a very nice pool.

Nothing sexy here, nothing! Apart from the rate. Nothing really very bad either, a room to sleep in.

A modern room with umpteen light switches. Took time to work out how to get the right lights on or off. However, they forgot to put electric sockets for kettle, which they provided, or iPhone charger. The room had two sockets in inaccessible places, seemed odd as it advertises itself as a business conference venue. Breakfast buffet was like New Year sales rush with large number of guests all trying to fathom out how to get the hot drinks machine to work. Food was also mediocre. Not a very relaxing way to start the day. TV had numerous Italian speaking stations but no international channels.

I visited this hotel during my last business trip in Lecce. As you see in the title, the hotel is targeting the business guests. Therefore, if you wish to have a nice clean room with free internet and with nice breakfast then this hotel is a very good choice. It also has a very good position.
It is not a super modern place and it has some issues like very small televisions (if you want to watch television) and strange elevators. However, if you plan a business trip to Lecce –consider this hotel.

Our three day at the Grand Hotel Tiziano was a delight. We used it as a base to explore Puglia. Its location made it easy to drive out each day to explore the region. Each evening when we returned, we were able to relax with drinks in the lobby bar. Its location also enabled us to walk to the old center of Lecce. The only complaint we had was that the breakfasts were hectic because of the number of guests. The quality of the food was fine even though there was sometimes a wait for a table and coffee cups. We look forward to visiting Puglia again and will stay at this hotel.

If you are trying to decide where to stay if you have a rental car and want to be within walking distance to the centre - just choose here. It's a 10 min walk away from the historical centre. I was going to pick 8piu hotel due to reviews however it is a long walk from the centre.

Tiziano is authentically Italian. It seems to be popular with natives as they hold many business functions here.

The hotel is not perfect or luxurious but is functional. My room on second floor was huge & a great base for 2 days in Lecce. The room was redecorated a few years ago. Don't expect perfection - it's an older hotel but it has a nice atmosphere. The breakfast room is busy with a large selection.

The checkin ladies spoke excellent English & the barman in the foyer was also nice to
speak to.

To walk to the city you take a right turn outside the hotel and walk along a less than perfect path! You then take a left at Porta Napoli.
