Late October and autumn coloured view of Lago di Garda was fantastic.
Dimora Bolsone is a very nice homely hotel with pleasant rooms
and the wonderful desolated spot above Gardone Riviera is very special.

We loved staying at Dimora Bolsone. It is beautiful, peacful and charming! The people and the service were so great! The food is fantastic, and we are very picky about eating fresh, somewht simple, beautiful food. Yes this is a 5+ star B & B.

Despite returning a month ago from this stunning hotel, we are still telling everyone about our fantastic holiday spent here. We cannot praise it enough. The bedroom, bathroom, terraces, gardens and breakfasts were gorgeous. However, the most memorable part for us, was the fantastic staff, Jessica and Michaela, and owner Raffael, who, without a doubt, made the holiday so special for us.

We had a delightful 3 night stay in September. We had an issue with the room we chose on-line that in person did not meet our needs but after a bit of re-arranging, we got a large suite which was just perfect. Jessica and Rafael and Marco, the chef, are beautiful people.

We had the BEST dinners all three nights. Creative, fresh and works of art and you can order off the menu with enough choices to satisfy the best eater. And, they had nightly specials which we took advantage of. The hotel only has 5 rooms so the crowd is small. On one night we were the only guests for dinner and still cannot believe that Marco cooked for only us! Imagine a table for two, outside in a most beautiful setting with a view of Lake Garda… candle light, wine, and 5 star dining. What a nice surprise.

Wifi is somewhat spotty but we found our little corner of the grounds for our twice daily news-from-home catch-up. And once you know your way to and from this remote location, it becomes quite easy to drive down to town. We especially enjoyed Sola and our ferry ride to Sirmione. Jessica was a big help with directions and tips on how to reach places of interest.

This is an agrotourism bed and breakfast which means that at least 40% of what you eat was grown on this property… we did not know at the time of booking and it was a treat. The acres around the main building go on and on. We did not have time to fully explore but got to see the garden, the chickens and roosters and the rabbits. There are trails and a pond… wishing we had a full day just to explore the vast grounds.

No hesitation to recommend Dimora Bosone… we would go out of our way to visit again.

Room tip: Rooms are not well represented on web site... the one we chose had no sitting area but another room was available.

I booked Dimora Bolsone as a surprise for my husbands 50th birthday present. We have stayed in Gardone Riviera previously as we both like this area. I wanted something more intimate rather than a huge hotel this time. I was so pleased I took the time to research and came across this charming place. It's s bit difficult to find as there are no signposts along the way, ignore your sat nav as it sent us elsewhere!! I booked for 5 nights and could of easily stayed a couple more!! We had the room at the top of the house which has a small balcony with breath taking views over the lakes. The room was elegantly furnished with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing sat overlooking the lakes, served by the lovely Jessica who was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She's a real asset to this beautiful b&b. Jessica recommended restaurants that she liked to go herself in the area, which she then booked a table for us. Each one was fantastic and we would never have stumbled across by ourselves. There is a real homely feel about the place with the two friendly dogs roaming the grounds. I would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a romantic getaway. We are looking forward to returning again in the near future.
