Had this hotel as part of a holiday package. Didn't start well, as we arrived late at night to a very cold meal (Chicken legs) in our room covered in cling film, with no knowledge of how long it had been there as we were 12 hours late.
However, our room was excellent for a 3* hotel. we, apparently, had the only room (1004) on the first floor which opened fully on to the terrace seating area with tables, chairs, sunbeds and swimming pool!
The room had a Jacuzzi shower, which we overused (it was so good), the bed was a good size and we had a settee to rest on as well. Very Impressed.
We were on bed and breakfast, but unfortunately, being British, it was a continental breakfast. I mean, really, who has ham and cheese for breakfast? On the occasion that we arrived at breakfast with only half an hour to go, there was little food. We asked for croissants, but were told we could only have one each!! On 2 occasions the drinks machine was not working and we had to wait until the only waitress could serve us hot water from the bar. *Tip, take English tea bags and ask for hot water in the tea pot*
The staff were polite, but not always helpful, even though I had a smattering of Italian.
BUT, overall it was really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed it.More
