We (2 persons) stayed in this hotel for a week in sept 2021. We've booked it via TUI and we're suprised about the good quality of the hotel compared to the low price.
The room was large with a good airconditioning (although we had to ask to turn it on at the desk, you would expect this to be done already before checking in). The bathroom was quite narrow. It's a typical Italian hotelroom with colorful tiles on the floor. The room could have been cleaner, especially near the toilet, but it was solved properly when asked. Room was also equipped with a small seaview balcony, a safe and a big TV-screen.
The personnel was very friendly, except 2 guys in the restaurant. One of them even managed to insult another (non-Italian) customer, when she had brought some sand from the beach in the dining room.
The breakfast was fine (compared to other Italian hotels), the diner was moderate (especially the fish dishes could be better). The food quality improved, when a large group of bus tourists had left. Although we had a seperate dining room, this group made an awful lot of noise during diner time because it was so large. The prices of the drinks were reasonable.
The hotel was located at the boulevard and very near to the beach and the town centre.
In front of the hotel is a swimming pool with a lot of beach chairs. I also rented a bike at the hotel (thay only have small women bikes without gears - that's a pity) and was suprised about the amount of safe cycling paths in the environment.
Forte dei Marmi itself is - to our surprise - a very expensive place, with a lot of luxury shops. We also happened to see the finish of the "Crazy Race" with about 100 very expensive sportscars!
There's an awful lot of things to day in the neighbourhood, e.g. the Carrara marble quarries, Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Florence. Also don't forget to visit the market of Forte Dei Marmi, the most luxurious we've ever seen! It's very near to the hotel.
