The room was simple, but clean and the hotel lies in a quiet location. Approximately 1,0 km bikeride from the beach and 1,5 km from the city center. Hotel owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Calm and pleasant atmosphere during breakfast.
Forte dei Marmi is a weekend destination for italians, and hotels fill up quickly for the weekends. The town is more quiet during weekdays.
The is the best boutique hotel I have stayed at! Charming! Delicious breakfast! Courteous staff! Cute bicycles! Spacious rooms with all the nicest amenities. It has a lovely, modern, yet extremely comfortable decor and furnishings. Above all, the owners were gracious and helpful suggesting excellent beach locations, restaurants and shopping ideas—it really made the difference. They really cares that we had a good time. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was quiet—no thin walls. Nice heavy doors and walls so you could rest when you wanted to! The bathroom was the perfect size and the shower had excellent water pressure. It was crazy hot when we were there so we didn’t need the towel warmers :)
I highly suggest renting the bikes! It’s the only way and the best way to see Forte Dei Marmi. Don’t come here if you’re not willing to join the fun biking!! They have the cutest white bikes with HUGE baskets so you can buy a lot in the fabulous stores in the Centre. I loves the attention to detail—each room was scented with beautiful perfume and the Lobby is adorned with beautiful white orchids, plumerias and tropical flowers. Trust me, I’m a hotel snob and I am very picky. Hotel Bijou is a jewel among all the other basic places to stay in Forte dei Marmi!!
Myself and 2 friends stayed recently and had a wonderful time. We were given 3 separate beds, room was lovely with a small balcony. The decor of the hotel is bright and airy. The breakfast was great, with lots of gluten free options. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the town centre but not too far to the beach front. Book the hotel bicycles in advance when you arrive.
The couple running the hotel were really welcoming and always ready to help with anything we required.
The hotel was quite nice but isolated in a residential neighborhood that was not near anything! One had to walk to either the beach or the town (the latter ~ 20 blocks away). They had bicycles but asked for rental fee rather than offering them as an amenity to guests. The room was fine and the breakfast quite elegant & plentiful. The husband and wife team that own the property were both nice but were clearly not local Italian folk. I would prefer to stay in a more centrally located Italian place.

Very clean rooms ,fabulous terrace breakfast and very helpful dedicated staff happy to help and happy in their work ( can only coment on breakfast couple who took such pride in their very well presented offering ,as it was too late to eat evening meal when I arrived at 10 pm ) I loved my one night stay ! It has lots of little touches that show the owner cares .... so nice I’m planning to go back very soon ! Bicycles outside for guests to use, handy as it in a quite suburb and a little walk from the front .
