Stayed at Bijou for 8nights and the stay was beyond expectation. We were upgraded to the Junior suite on the top floor. The room was spacious, has a elegant interior decor and the highlight was the huge terrace outside our room. We could view the whole Forte dei Marmi area and the mountains. Needless to say the sunset and sunrise was best from our terrace. The terrace also comes with lounge seats, tables and chairs for dining. Brilliant room and the junior suit is highly recommended.
The hotel itself is about 10 minutes to the beach which was great and the hotel provides bicycles for rent at €10 per day. The breakfast was really good with a range of varieties including juices, cereals, breads, various cheese, jellies, ham, salami etc. The outdoor garden breakfast area puts a nice touch and a good start for the day. The hotel also has private parking space which was very good for us.
My most memorable part was the service provided by the owners. Marissa went one step ahead to answer all our queries and guide us for certain place. She even gave recommendation on places to visit and for dinner which turned out to be marvellous. They are very accommodating. Their hospitality is one of the aspect which will induce me to return to this hotel again. They even had a dog named Mindy which was a love.
Very grateful for the pleasant stay indeed.
