This is a very nice and cosy Alpine style hotel in Cortina. We had a beautiful room with absolutely amazing views! The room was beautifully furnished and decorated and had nice details. The bathroom was good size – although you had to pay separately, if you used the Jacuzzi…so we only used the bath. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. The staff was attentive and polite – especially Marcel, who was extremely attentive, helpful and professional. He was just amazing. The hotel is very lucky to have him. This hotel is very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere was very “homely”. The ski bus stop is very near and the city centre is in a walking distance. There is also a very good local restaurant (Beppe Sello) near the hotel. We had a minor issue in our room in the first day, but they handled it well, so no complaints about that. There was also a warm ski room in the hotel, so it was nice to have your dry ski boots ready in the morning! We liked a lot this hotel and would love to go back - anytime!

We stayed here for three nights while on a ski vacation to the Dolomites. The location, while not right in Cortina, was close to the main gondola at Tofana and was right on the road to the other lifts. We had a car, but there was a ski bus stop quite close by. Ski storage was secure and warm. Staff was all delightful and very helpful.

We stay at this hotel in July 2015. Everything was very nice, the staff, the room and the view from the balcony was just gorgeous. We had included hot breakfast every morning. Delicious. The hotel is at a reasonable walking distance from the Down Town. Free parking.

Good things: really nice room with a small balcony with lovely mountain views. Lady manager is very friendly and helpful. Easy parking.

The main disadvantage is that there is no restaurant in the hotel (does have breakfast). There's a very good restaurant a short walk down the hill, but you might not want to eat there more than once on your stay. There are no other eating options within walking distance, as the hotel is a little way out of town.

Room tip: Worth paying for a "mountain view" room with balcony

This hotel was perfect for our needs. The owners are family, very welcoming and will help you with hiking trail and restaurant selections. The breakfasts in the Italian Alps are fabulous by American Standards and would probably cost about $15 stateside. There are all kinds of fruit, eggs, various cold cut meats, breads, pastries, juice, hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and much more. Everywhere we went there were tablecloths and your table was selected in advance....look for the placecard with your room number. The rooms were quiet and well appointed. The bathroom was large, great water pressure and heated racks for your towels. Very reasonable during the summer months. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay!

Room tip: We had room #42 and thought it was great. Nice balcony.
