We had an excellent experience in this agriturismo. It was centrally located for venturing out, and we visited Montepulciano and Pienza, both charming villages nearby. We used the public spa in town on the first day - very nice. We took a cooking class that included wine tasting, with Luciano who was a lot of fun! We used the spa facilities on the property another day - also very nice with a view of the valley. We had the 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the vineyard, which was perfect for 4 adults. It's about 1.5 hours south of Florence, mostly on the autostrada. Marta and her staff were very gracious - you won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: Olivo apartment was private and quiet - window screens helped keep the rural insects out!

We loved this place. Very hospitable staff, serene environment, top notch facilities, great food, perfect location for day trips to destinations like Sienna, Asissi, Civita and Orvieto. The grapes were being harvested so it was a special tome to be there. They have an excellent spa that provides many services like massage and wine baths. The view from our window each morning was worth the stay, not to mention all of the other features. Good cell phone reception and excellent wifi.

Room Tip: The Olivo house was a perfect place to be. It had two bedrooms each containing an en suite bath. Bedrooms had a queen bed and an unattached twin/full bed. The house had everything needed to cook your own meals but why would you want to?

We were made to feel vvery welcome on arrival. The room in the main building that we had was spacious and well equipped to self cater. The views around our villa were magnificent, the old Chianciano and the new town. Shopping was convenient(PAM & COOP) tHIS LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR DAY TRIPPING OUT.The dinners, wine tasting and vineyard and winery tour, all on site were great. And for the ladies new and modern spa, heated pool , sauna and steam room ! A great place to stay.
Ian & Maree

Room Tip: The detached building over the winery is probably the quietest

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children ages 8 and 4) loved Palazzo Bandino. Marta and Carlo were so welcoming, our room was spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed interacting with the other guests, and the meals were among the highlight of our trip. The dinners are not to be missed; delicious Tuscan-style cooking using ingredients from the farm. At breakfast our every wish was satisfied (coffee, tea, frothed milk, eggs made-to-order, etc.).

Room Tip: We stayed in La Mimosa & Il Mandorlo apartments which included 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living room. The rooms face the parking lot so you may hear people coming & going at night, although this was not a large issue for us.

We stayed at Palazzo Bandino in early June to kick off our two week trip in Italy--celebrating our 25th anniversary. This was our fourth stay at PB and it felt like a home-coming. I absolutely love the location and staff. Marta and Carlo are very attentive without being intrusive. Tamara is super sweet and so friendly. On this trip, we stayed in La Noce cottage and loved the privacy and intimacy of the space. The meals were fantastic, as usual. Very large breakfast with many choices, including homemade cakes and pastries. The evening meal is optional and we dined onsite on evening. It was delicious! I love being in the country and having easy access to the Tuscan hilltowns for daytrips. We will definitely return--it feels like our home away from home.
