10 minute stroll into to town with all its restaurants and 15 minutes to the old town with restaurants and shops. The train station is a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is up a hill from the main road which requires a certain level of fitness to negotiate, there are a few different routes that can be taken which reduce the steepness however. There is a courtesy shuttle bus which is recommended to get back to the hotel after a wonderful meal in Cefalu.
The hotel staff are wonderful, nothing is too much bother. The breakfast is adequate and the coffee from the machine is excellent.
The pool is lovely and warm and cleaned every evening with plenty of sunbeds, there's certainly no need to save with your towels first thing in the morning.
The room was very nice and cleaned every day, although not spacious the shower was fine. We missed not having tea and coffee making facilities in the room but those I suppose are for more expensive hotels.
I would fully recommend the Villa Belvedere in Cefalu.
We made our own way from Punta Riasi Airport to Cefalu using the train. The station is in the basement of the airport.

Room tip: Choose a room with balcony and sea view.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is super clean. There is a big pool with plenty of sun loungers. The only downside is the shower is too small, inside the shower cabin there is a plastic seat which makes really uncomfortable when showering.

Me and my friend stayed here for 5 days middle of September. Although it was uphill, the hotel itself was friendly, clean and the buffet breakfast was very good. Nothing was too much trouble. We could walk into the centre of Cefalu along a promenade (took 10 minutes) and there was a big supermarket close by. It was a 10 minute walk from the railway station. The icing on the cake was their Aperol Spritzers, they were excellent.

The hotel is located on a steep incline just as you enter Cefalu from Palermo. The steep incline is challenging by foot after a day at the beach or in the town. We considered it a workout so be prepared to sweat on your way up.

The facilities are basic enough but functional. The WiFi however is very good and the pool is good too.

We paid €1200 on Booking.com for 6 nights in August for a family of 4 sharing one room. At €50 per person per night with a pool and 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Cefalu was reasonable.

The coffee is great, as expected, also lunch is reasonable but breakfast is quite expensive at €10 per person per day if not included. Breakfast in Cefalu on the other hand costs €7.50 per person with lots of choice.

Its a no-frills hotel but we would recommend it as a place to stay in Cefalu.

A delightful place in a great location in a quiet area with stunning views of Cefalu & its gulf (especially from the panoramic roof top terrace if your room doesn't face the bay/town). Pets & kids friendly too.
The staff were always on hand & nothing was ever too much trouble. They are multi-lingual, polite, attentive & very helpful. The hotel was always clean & presentable.
Breakfast was buffet style & the choices were many, including cereal, pastries, breads, cakes, a deli bar, fresh fruit & yoghurts. The hotel doesn't operate a formal restaurant for lunch or evening dinner but meals, hot pasta snacks, sandwiches, salads & drinks can be ordered any time of day to be eaten around the premises or in the room (several of the areas are very well air conditioned too). The food is good, there's no waiting time & the prices are cheap.
This is one of the very few hotels to have its own pool, it is 16m long for the swimmers. There's also a gym with many machines & loose weights but best to save your energy for the small hill climb back to the hotel. Its not long, but its hot work in August during siesta time when some of the town goes to sleep. The hotel does have a minibus service to & from town many times through the day & 2 euros each way is very reasonable & preferable to the walk back.
