So we stayed in a double room with sea view on the 5th level. The balcony view is incredible. The cheap price reflects the bathroom but if you can look past this, it is fine. The rooms were very clean and the staff all super helpful. Breakfast outside on the terrace very special to start the day. Finally, the sheltered cove is a great sun trap and super spot to go snorkelling. Do not go to Mondello, come here is our best advice. Beautiful town also 15mins walk away.

The best thing about this hotel are staff. The guys running the bar and restaurant make you feel so comfortable and welcome. The food is great, they have a happy hour everyday & you can get a half decent old-fashioned for 6 euros.

There are loads of little spots to hang out read a book and not be bothered. The yoga class was awesome, again very welcoming.

So worth the small upgrade to Sea-view to wake up to the Aeolian islands in the distance at sunrise. Just magical.
The only downside was that we had a really low beam in our room which they had considerately covered with nautical-themed padding for the many times we bumped our heads. Thank you for this.

Can't really fault this hotel at all. It was a great stay for what we payed.

Room tip: Suites looked like they get a lot of foot traffic from guests heading to beach. Sea-view was lovely, public balconies but stunning views!

Our review is based on a superior sea view bedroom.

The hotel itself is really nice. It has a fantastic beach area with the clearest and cleanest water for snorkelling in and offers many choices of water sports. Although there are many steps to go down to the beach that shouldn’t put you off. The views are magnificent. There is also a massive swimming pool area with many other games and sports facilities available should you wish to use them.
There is an ample car park area and it’s free of charge. You can also walk to the town centre which takes about 30 minutes to get there.

About the bedroom: for the price that we paid, I think it needs a bit of attention to detail. The decor was plain and boring, the picture in the room was torn, there is a lack of furniture considering the size of the room, the air conditioning system had a pipe coming out of it into a plastic container, hidden behind a divider. The bathroom was ok, although the towels were old and stained. The large terrace had magnificent sea views, however there was a lack of privacy from your neighbours due to the screen between rooms being to short. There was a kettle in the room but no coffee was provided, only a few sachets of tea.

The breakfast, which was included in the room price, was nice and substantial. Due to Covid-19 there was no self-service and you can expect up to 10 minutes wait. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful.

All in all, I would definitely recommend staying here, as long as your room expectations are not too high.

The view from the patio of the hotel is beautiful. You can take the stairs towards the "beach" (no sand, there's concrete) where there are sunbeds with a snack stand. The hotel itself is quite noisy, you can hear your neighbors walk, talk and slam their doors.
With the corona virus the breakfast is not self-serve buffet, you have to ask and point out to the staff what you want to eat while you stand in line. This is very inefficient and it takes a lot of time. The coffee you get in the beginning is cold by the time you can start eating your breakfast.
The rooms are not very special, I would even say outdated. It could all use a little upgrade/touch up.

Pros: lovely beach, comfortable rooms and beds, the location is a €10 short taxi Into town

Cons: the breakfast is below average (if you’re a vegan, you can have fruit and bread), the was a random €19 charge on my room bill that the staff couldn’t explain what it was from, lobby very dated, the bar by the pool is unprofessional (why not have a lovely beach bar in that beautiful space?!)
