The property is on a hill side with breathtaking views of the sea and port area of Cefalu. The rooms were spacious and the breakfasts set us up nicely for the day. You definitely require a car as the road down to Cefalu town is long and winding and you certainly could not walk this, especially in the dark and hot weather. We used the B&B as a base for exploring the surrounding areas and it was ideally situated for doing this. Parking in cefalu is not a problem as long as you don't mind twisting your way around the town, and there are 2 large car parks near the sea front where you can park all day for about 10 Euros or 5 Euros in the evening.
The host was wonderful and looked after us during our stay and offered maps and advice on where to go and what to avoid.
I would highly recommend this B&B

Room tip: Rooms at the back overlook the sea with great views and a balcony

We stayed in this B&B for three nights. Used it as a base for exploring surrounding areas. It's a lovely quiet place with stunning views , comfortable beds, spacious rooms ,all offering sea view. MariaTheresa is a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to accommodate a gluten free breakfast-thank you , much appreciated! Above and 3km east of Cefalu you'll need a car , but it is only a 5-7 min drive to Cefalu itself, which is a charming place.
If you don't mind driving, want easy access to the national park , a good nights sleep and stunning views to wake up to , it's a great place to stay!

We travelled to Sicily in June 2014, as a group of 5 and in Cefalu we stayed at Alba tra i pini. Yes it is secluded, but we wanted it that way, the view over the bay is amazing! The hosts were very helpful and their dog Laika adoreable.
I stayed in a room on the first floor which had a good size and was well kept. For me it was a good location in an otherwise quite busy touristic spot.

OK, it's a little tricky to find. But once you're there it's a quiet, restful place. We've had a warm welcome from the delightful owner.

So the minus : find the place. Better prepare a map online before leaving and look for the small signs.

The plus : calm, no problem to park the car (unlike downtown)
- safe for the (young) kids (there's a fence all around, no swimming pool)
- there is a micro wave oven for a quick dinner/lunch
- it's super clean, bedrooms are wide with balcony in front of a breathtaking panorama.
- close enough to the city to go for dinner to a restaurant (there is a good parking on the West end side

But, best of all once again, it's quiet and calm, perfect for holidays after days in the busy city.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view (I guess they all are) !
