Good atmosphere and good food.
Only run by mem and wife, so service is kind of slow.
You can have a heart warming home style cooking.

Great food and great people. The food is locally sourced and the freshness shows up on the plate. Ask for a variety of starters and let them figure out what to bring. Then lean back in your chair and wait for the dishes to hit the table. Daily specials are the norm and everything we had was wonderful!

This is the number 1 restaurant in Benevento for the mix quality/price/traditional food. A real gem even if the name of the restaurant can think this would be a pub or just a club.
A must have to try is the their specialty the Spaghetti alla Vucciria, secret recipe made with a light tomato sauces mixed with many different spice and herbs.
The meat is outstanding with a very good quality especially on the pork and the salumi, cold cuts etc. My dad used to drive 45 minutes on top of a near mountain to get the same products, so means they care a lot about quality.
We had also pork with almonds, chestnut and honey and was amazing.
they serve the castelpoto sausage made with red peppers (spicy and sweet) not easy to find served in other restaurants

Only a few customers but they proved to be extremely amiable and affable. Service was good and choices were guided and dishes explained when they arrived.
Mixed meats and cheeses with good bread followed by Sausage and broccoli for me, and a spicy pasta, almost a curry spiced dish of fresh and dried tomatoes but herby and dressed with pine nuts or my wife. This had a long slow cook so the meat was cooked into the sauce. Wine of a decent standard and good coffee, good company, it's a recipe for a good night out.

In this town of Benevento, which wants to be Western-Molisean but gives its best as an Eastern-Neapolitan one, this small intimate restaurant prepares fantastic disches rooted in the traditional kitchen of this part of Campania, because most of the products come from the nearest countryside (kilometro zero). Kind and comfortable service, good prices, maybe too big amount of olive oil in dishes, Pulcinella everywhere
