Only a few customers but they proved to be extremely amiable and affable. Service was good and choices were guided and dishes explained when they arrived.
Mixed meats and cheeses with good bread followed by Sausage and broccoli for me, and a spicy pasta, almost a curry spiced dish of fresh and dried tomatoes but herby and dressed with pine nuts or my wife. This had a long slow cook so the meat was cooked into the sauce. Wine of a decent standard and good coffee, good company, it's a recipe for a good night out.

In this town of Benevento, which wants to be Western-Molisean but gives its best as an Eastern-Neapolitan one, this small intimate restaurant prepares fantastic disches rooted in the traditional kitchen of this part of Campania, because most of the products come from the nearest countryside (kilometro zero). Kind and comfortable service, good prices, maybe too big amount of olive oil in dishes, Pulcinella everywhere

This is a quaint restaurant off the main street of Via Garibaldi. We found the food, overall to be uninspired. We tried the traditional saminiti pastas, they were much too oily, and one of the recommended traditional pork dishes-over cooked and uninteresting. A disappointing dinner overall, though the server was very amicable.

This place is loved by its owners. You can tell with the countless nick nacks around the room. Kept the children happy looking at everything. Food was nice. Simple fare but honest and nice. Big portions. We could have shared meals. Very helpful staff. Hard to find but a good fun experience.

This restaurant is well hidden in a side alley of the main street of Benevento (Corso Garibaldi): only those who know that it exists could find it (but we knew....). It was a pleasant surprise, in many senses.
First, of course, the food. The menu features dishes prepared almost exclusively with local produce, and cooked with skill and original (but not extravagant) recipes. That at least is what we could experience with delicious dishes that we ordered: spaghetti "Vucciria" (tomato and a blend of spices), "Troccoli" (spaghetti with square section) shepherd style, ie with sausage and ricotta cheese; pie of wild vegetables; pork with almonds and chestnut honey. All accompanied by a glass of local wine "Aglianico". Very fair price in relation to quality: 48 € for two people. Every recipe has been kindly illustrated by Debora, who manages the property with Marco; and who appeared to us - through her fascinating conversation - to be very committed to enhancing (not only with food) the culture of her city and of the territory.
In short, it was an experience truly out of the ordinary: I recommend it without any doubt.
