Pretty basic hotel accomodations in the middle of a ski area. I'm sure it's great for skiers, I am not one of them, all I wanted was a bed for the night and this suited.
The bed was comfy, the position was right off the highway and it was within walking distance of many eateries and bars....if you didn't want to eat in the hotel.
Breakfast was extensive, juice, pastries, yogurt, cereal meat and cheese (all cold) and the coffee out of the machine was surprisingly good.
The shower in room 204 is not suitable for anyone over 60 kilos or 180 cms...as it is jammed in tight with about 6 inches between it and the sink. Not too sure what they were thinking when it was installed, but my average sized partner had a hell of a time getting in and out of it.
It sure added to the fun of staying there!

Room tip: Be careful of room 204. Shower access is extremely tight.

Passing from Italy to France turned up with out booking.

Had another very nice room, dinner was a self service buffet, followed by 3 further courses all for €20 a real bargain.

Michaela looked after me even providing me with a packed lunch.

This is a typical Alpine hotel . Well worth a visit.

Had a great week staying at this friendly hotel. Our room was basic but clean with a very comfortable bed. Food excellent and plentiful (two huge rolls for lunch proved too much for us, we requested just one each on second day). It was quite pleasant waking to the aroma of fresh bread being cooked every morning. What makes this hotel special is the hard working staff.....from the welcoming blue hands of Steffi (don’t worry, just blue gloves she wears for hygiene) to the wonderful waiters, especially Andrea, who brightened even the flattest light! A special mention to the night manager - his talent of keeping alcohol levels down by ignoring requests for drinks was hilarious and added to the great fun we had at this hotel. As mentioned in previous reviews the lounge area is great for apres ski socialising. We met some great people we now count as friends who added to a fantastic week. My advice for a great time here is take a pack of cards and get everyone involved playing ‘Dirty Mary’ (like chase the ace but funnier)......eat all your polenta.......lastly.....hope you get Steffi serving your drinks before 10 and not ‘Herr Flick’!

Recently stayed at this hotel on a ski trip. As soon as we arrived around lunchtime we were told to drop off our stuff as there was a buffet arranged for our arrival. We settled in quickly to our comfortable room which had a balcony. The room was on the smaller side but had plenty of hooks and space to put our luggage. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was a good size and the water was always hot. The towels were large and replaced daily if necessary. The bed was large & lighting sufficient with main light & bedside wall lights. The room was warm and the balcony doors were shuttered from outside so there were no draughts & the room was kept dark so a good nights sleep was easily achieved.
The staff were probably the most helpful & friendly we had ever come across...nothing was too much trouble for them and they all seemed to work really well as a team. The lovely lady on reception also manned the bar as it was all-inclusive drinks from 5-10pm with a really good selection of drinks. She also helped out in the restaurant too. The area to chill & catch up with fellow guests was large with comfortable settees. The food was plentiful. Most guests took advantage of the packed lunches so we could get more time on the slopes but one day we went back for lunch which was lovely. Breakfasts were good...no hot food but plenty of yoghurts, croissants, eggs, fruits, cereals, cheeses, bread to feast on for the day ahead. The evening meals were lovely...usually a mains of meat or fish. However being only a poultry eater of meat I was able to request chicken on a few occassions which posed no problem at all....the very helpful waiter Andreas deserves a mention as nothing phased him at all and he carried out his job with enthusiasm & a good sense of humour. The puddings certainly deserve a mention...there was such a choice and they were all absolutely delicious. Sometimes it was hard to make a choice as to what was on offer such as lovely chocolate puddings, cheesecakes, fruit panacotta (my favourite) ice-cream in several flavours, choux pastry etc..
The hotel was situated in a handy position for transport as there was a bus stop just outside to take you up to Campo Smith & a bus stop just around the corner going to the Jafferau area. The main town & shops were about a 5 to 10 minute walk away.
I could wax lyrical about this hotel far more but suffice to say I would definitely recommend & would visit again in a heartbeat.

Just back from a weeks skiing holiday, super hotel, basic rooms but plenty of hot water, fluffy towels, great food and lovely friendly staff. Right opposite ski bus stop so no huge walk in ski boots either.
