The hotel is very conveniently located on the shore of Lake Garda with access to little public pebble beach just across the prom. The lake is also accessible through a little private pier available for hotel guests.
Staff were very polite and friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with them all throughout my entire stay.
The facilities as well as the room were very clean. So was the breakfast restaurant. Table cloths were changed after each customer so it looked spotless at all times. Breakfast buffet was fantastic - much more than just the usual Italian selection of foods. There was also a special corner with organic food and a juice maker with fresh carrots and apples available for your DYI morning glass of freshly squeezed juice.
There was no problem with parking space within hotel premises.
Supermarket next door. Center of Bardolino within 10-minute walk along lovely prom.

Room Tip: Some rooms do not have a balcony. Make sure you enquire at check-in.

Only a short walk along the beautiful lakeside from the centre of Bardelino with all its plentiful shops and cafes this is a great hotel in which to enjoy a relaxing holiday. We stayed in one of the annexe rooms which was really a suite and had a good size balcony. After busy days sightseeing and touring the lake by boat it was nice to return to the peace and calm of our room and the hotel. Staff are all very friendly and although we didn't have an evening meal at the hotel the breakfast was excellent with a good choice of quality food.

Was disappointed not to get room I requested as was my 70th birthday but room we were given was fine considering heat? But the staff were all as friendly as ever they are almost like family. Will definitely be back.

Having stayed at the Du Lac du Parc in Riva last year we chose this hotel in Bardolino expecting the same standard. Unfortunate mistake, as it was nowhere near the same. There were certainly many things in its favour such as the location by the lake, breakfast on the terrace, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. However we were given a room at the back overlooking the petrol station and the rear entrance. The room was very dark and depressing needing the lights on during the day as the balcony was under the room above in a dark corner. It was separated from next door at a 90 degree angle by a small Perspex screen and it was therefore very easy to see into the bedroom. Needless to say we got the noise from the general loading and offloading of goods to the hotel and also the activity from the garage. When we asked if we could be moved the receptionist agreed that our room was quite dark and dismal but the earliest they could find us something was two days before we came back. As people were checking out every day I suspected only a limited effort was made. As for the food, the breakfast was distinctly average, also no egg or omelette station. Choice for evening meal was made at breakfast and having experienced a couple of not so good meals we were able to choose to eat out in town, which was costly but much improved. Plenty of sun beds available but these are away from the pool which is actually under the Belle Vue, and only 25% is actually outdoor with very few sunbeds close by. the other 75% is indoor, so more functional as a pool.
So whilst the holiday was generally most enjoyable with regards to location and the surrounding area facilities, it was not quite up to our expectations. I presume stars are usually based on cuisine, service and room standards and if so I feel this struggles to be a four star.

Room Tip: Try to get a lake view or at least something nearer the front with more light, possibly in the Belle Vue.

I have been to lake garda on 3 previus occasions, and i must say this the best hotel for position of the lake. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless, the food was wonderful with a wide choice. To be able to walk from the breakfast patio onto a private beach area was wonderful, then another 30 yards onto the lakeside with its own private pier fantastic.

Room Tip: balcony overlooking lake.
