We had a nice weeks stay at this pleasant hotel. A fine room with balcony and Garda lake view. The staff here is really wonderful. Not many hotels offer such excellent service. At breakfast or by the pools.

A fabulous family run hotel, were the staff greeted us with a warm welcoming smile and glass of prosecco! The staff were attentive throughout our stay and would recommend places to go, and restaurants to eat in. We stayed the fourth floor, which had a great view of the Lake. Breakfasts were plentiful and we would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: Poor Wifi sadly! Take a room on the fourth floor, facing the lake. We had the best room in the hotel 407

This is a beautiful hotel, just a short walk to the lake shore and about 20 minutes into Bardolino along the promenade. The hotel doesn't serve evening meals, but does an excellent breakfast, toasties and sandwiches for lunch, and has an excellent bar where many guests return at the end of the day - we made lots of friends here during our stay. The hotel is well placed to access the local bus service (to many points on the lake, as well as to Verona), and Bardolino has a good boat service to other towns on the lake - our best tips: take the bus to Malcesine, then a boat to Limone for the ice cream; a boat from Bardolino to Sirmione; and use the bicycles available from the hotel to cycle along the lake shore to Garda). Lake Garda exceeded all our expectations and Hotel Gardenia was the perfect base to explore its many charms.

Just stayed a week in this lovely family run hotel our second visit and we were not disappointed . You are always met with a smile and feel special when you arrive and welcomed with a glass of Prosecco. Rooms are very clean and kept immaculate throughout your stay.We had a lake view room which had a balcony with a table with chairs and beds . Breakfast is buffet style with eggs cooked freshly for you (scrambled , fried or omelette ) and a good spread of breads, fruit, cakes , meats and cereal. You can stroll along the lakeside into Bardolino in around ten minutes and it is also a good base to visit other places of interest in this area . I would highly recommend this hotel as all staff are there to make sure you have a wonderful time . We will be back

Room Tip: Ask for a lake view room they have big balconies

We stayed in this hotel for 10 nights last month. Our family had stayed previously and spoke highly of the staff and facilities. We had a room in Villa Charme overlooking the pool and with views of the lake. As we had expected every member of staff was both friendly and very helpful. They went the extra mile if you had a special request. Although the hotel doesn't have a concierge we were helped with our luggage when arriving and leaving. Our room was always spotless and the variety of food available at breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk along the lakeside to Bardolino which has many restaurants cafes and bars. Ferries are frequent to other parts of the lake and buses go north south and to Verona. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this hotel and our holiday.

Room Tip: Room 114 in Villa Charme was very quiet and had a large balcony with table 2 chairs and 2 loungers
