A fantastic week spent at the Parco degli Ulivi Hotel. The setting in the hills made for wonderful views in the morning and early evening.
The evening meals were superb, an excellent taste of the best Italian food, accompanied with wine from the hotel's very own wine cellar.
We can't wait to go back again!

The hotel is well placed for exploring the area by car, which is essential if you stay there. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and professional, providing excellent service. We visited mid-October and although the hotel was quite busy we did find the surrounding area to be very quiet and pretty much 'closed' for winter! Hotel restaurant evening menus are expensive and the portions small, although the food is of very high quality, so we tended to eat out most evenings and did always find somewhere good to eat, thanks to Trip Advisor.

Dear John A.
Thank you for your review, permitting at the others Trip Advisor’s members to know our hotel and we wanted to thank you for taking to consideration our staff and our services as excellent. This is gratifying us.
As you ascertained, October is a perfect months for whose want to discover the real essence of Sardinia, enjoying of the almost summery temperatures allowing you to go to the beaches and making daily excursions.
We thank you for appreciating our restaurant’s high quality cuisine. Nevertheless we are sorry that you evaluate it too expensive. Using and cooking high quality products is how our cuisine making its own difference and we would like to inform our future travelers that, beyond the menu à la Carte, we also offer a daily menu. This one is changing every day with the possibility to eat until 4 courses ( starter-first course-main course and dessert) for a price of 40,00 euro.
We hope to have you again as our guests at Parco degli Ulivi , maybe for a future holiday in September.

In this 4 star hotel the rooms are in separate buildings a short walk away from the restaurant, bar and pool area. We stayed for 3 nights (in Sep.) and had a junior suite (room 111, € 205 / night) in a building of 8 rooms opposite the reception building. The suite was very large consisting of 2 rooms and a bathroom, and a covered outside sitting area overlooking a garden and the countryside. The bedroom and bathroom had no windows other than into the front room and so were dark. I think the end rooms (109 and 110) of the building do have windows on the side. On entering the room there was a dampish feeling but this was gone once the air conditioning was turned on. Thr air conditioning had a dehumidifier mode. The bed was nicely hard and the pillows soft. There was a kettle and a limited selection of tea bags. The WLAN was available in the room and I measured a slow but consistent bandwidth of 0.9/0.2. We ate twice at the restaurant which was excellent. Once we took the 'tasting' menu which they printed a personal menu for us (a nice touch) and the second time we chose à la carte but with some recommended changes by Antonio Manca so that we could taste some special shaped Sardinian pasta. They also have a excellent choice of reasonably priced wines. The restaurant overlooks the pool and has good views of the surrounding hills. The choice and quality at breakfast was excellent. The hotel and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful such as providing directions to the best beaches. Parking is private and free. We would come here again.
