Delicious, copious food and warm welcome and service. The foie gras is superb as is all the food we tasted. Wonderful local wine list - nothing negative, except perhaps eaten too much!

Thank Jan E

It was my second time in la Gaillotiere and the experience was even greater than the first. The food is delicious and copious, the service excellent, and the location, at the terrace on a sunny day, was just astonishing. All under an amazing quality/price value. Everything just perfect for a family meal that created a beautiful memory of the spring at the campagne francaise.

This place is just amazing. Showed up with no reservation and even if fully booked, they found us a space. Food superb and very well presented. Great value for money. Service friendly and efficient. Will be back again, when in the area.

Just wow !
Nested in the quiet vineyards, this restaurant is an absolute hidden gem that will mesmerize the most demanding guests. To summarize :
- Absolute freshness and local products
- Quality and quantity
- Price are more than reasonable
- Great service

Despite this restaurant being located in the country it was full on this Friday evening. It's not surprising as the word of mouth has spread among the locals and started to attract guests from everywhere. I would recommend a booking.
On top of that, you can stroll to a "gite" owned by la Gaillotiere if you want to spend the night around or rest in the countryside so this is really the perfect combination.

Tucked away in the vineyard is L'Auberge La Gaillotière. The restaurant has inside and outside seating. Upon arrival we noticed that we were not alone to come and have dinner here. It is a wonderful spot because you are surrounded by vineyards. The atmosphere of the place is nice and relaxed. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They serve honest, homemade food. You can chose a menu formula according to your degree of hunger: entrée or dessert + plat for 20 euro, entrée + plat + dessert for 24 euro and entrée + plat + fromage + dessert for 27,5 euro. Coffee is always included. This is a really good deal considering the fact that the servings are not small at all. They also offer a good selection of correctly priced wines. Surely worth a recommendation!
