We were taking a day trip with family and were enroute to a small town in the Sierra's Northeast of Madrid. The family we were with nd the ones we planned to see suggested we meet half way in Torrelaguna. (By the way, If you see the word "torre" in any city name, stop and eat!) This was a great place. Had a covered outdoor seating area. We sat there until everyone arrived, then went into a nice, air conditioned dining room. This was at 2 PM. Four hours and four plates later, we gatered the group and left what we all agreed was a fabulous meal. They had it all and then some, and it was wonderful. Perfectly cooked meats of all kind, fabulous fish dishes, excellent salads and tapas, all with a small town twist and some local, countryside specialties. Of course the service was great and the prices were typical small town Spain...very reasonable. Even if it wasn't on the way to where we like to go, we'd go back to Posada Del Camino Real.

This hotel is a fantastic rural hotel with lots of history to it. The rooms are equipped with modern facility and fixtures for a comfortable stay. The rooms are very rustic and elegant and decent size.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating and always willing to assist in any way they can. The restaurant in the hotel has fantastic food from tapas to a la carte menu with extensive choices and everything we had was just fabulous.
