The hotel is the epitome of serenity. The entrance is beautiful. We were met by a Guest Relations lady who was rather “cool” and told us to Sit.
We filled out obligatory forms and was escorted to our room by a young man with very little English so my questions could not be answered.
We had a drink around the pool and whilst at the Shanghai la earlier in the week, we had “happy hour” - free drinks for an hour. Very nice. I asked if the Chedi did the same. The waiter told me that their clients did not have to have this service! Even seriously loaded people like something for nothing.
The food in the International restaurant was nice enough but not worth £200 for 2 courses and 2 drinks. The Fish restaurant on the beach as equally Eye Watering in price but food was excellent.More
